About
I'm Casey, and I've started CRIT.Consulting to help individuals and small businesses use technology better. We know it's not going anywhere, and its true that sometimes the world of technology can seem overwhelming, but it really doesn't have to be. This is where CRIT.Consulting comes into play - to help you achieve more.
Mission
Empower individuals and small businesses get the most out of their tech.
A little bit more about me
For as long as I can remember, I've been interested in all things tech - that interest covers a pretty broad spectrum, from consumer products like our everyday smart devices to the intricacies of cloud computing and beyond.

I'm naturally inquisitive, and have a passion for solving problems, especially when tech is involved.
I thrive on finding that 'Aha' moment where a client has just realised I've been able to help solve a pressing pain point of theirs.

Why did I start CRIT.Consulting?
It's a unique story, and one I am super proud of.

Like many, one day it was time for me to get a haircut. So, I go for a walk along Toorak Rd in South Yarra and stumble across the lovely folks in at South Yarra Barber, Christine & Emilio Kiparoglou.

We got chatting, about the day, about how busy we both were and eventually landed on what I do for work.

"So Casey, would you know much about Google and that sort of stuff?"

I replied, "Yeah, I know my way around it. Why's that?"

To cut a long story short, we agreed that we had to meet again so we could further discuss how I could help them with their tech challenges.

Turns out, the barber shop just needed a little boost for their digital presence.

Over a series of informal coffee sessions, we met to define and reiterate a new website, update the business' Google Profile and ensured their Instagram was linked to the website.

Being able to provide a valuable service to a family business and witnessing how grateful Christine and Emilio were,
I realised this is something I want to do more of.
My fondest moment
One of my fondest memories dates back to my university days when I was working part-time at the local Harvey Norman in the technology department.

One day, a lovely lady came in and was looking a bit lost, so naturally I approached to see if she needed some help and it was obvious that all the different computers and other gadgets on display were a bit overwhelming.

Again, to cut a long story short, this lady was after a complete solution for her local small business. Fast forward a couple of weeks, the same lady came back instore.
She didn't greet me with a 'Hello', a 'Good afternoon' or a 'Sorry to bother you', instead she greeted me with a hug and a thank you... She was so grateful for my patience, understanding and expert guidance. She wasn't coming in to look at anything else. She came in to show how much she appreciated my service.

It's moments like this one that make me so passionate for helping individuals and small business owners get the most out of technology.
